Are you a Multimedia Director who is eager to join a blue-chip media company and put your skills to the test across a multi-media platform? Our client is one of the UK’s leading media groups and consumer brands. They currently require a Director of Multimedia to manage the Multimedia team to achieve annual budgets and targets. The successful candidate will develop a cross departmental strategy with a view to developing new revenue streams. They will provide integrated multimedia solutions to clients and agencies utilising all commercial platforms where appropriate, and will develop and pitch for new business with bespoke ideas/campaigns/multimedia solutions. Principal responsibilities • Manage the Agency and Client sales team. • Manage Editor and Design Manager and oversee the editorial and design team in their absence. • Ensure that all proposals have been reviewed and that project costs are managed to ensure profitability. • Plan overall departmental revenue strategy and associated budgets to ensure Multimedia achieve overall profit targets and contributions. • Manage campaign revenue vs. costs in conjunction with Group Heads/Section Heads to ensure that revenue is optimised and that all projects are profitable prior to client's acceptance. • Support the department's overall agency and client strategies by building relationships at Director level with key targeted accounts. The Individual The successful candidate will be a media professional (agency or client side). The successful candidate will have a proven ability to develop and implement multimedia strategies and customer propositions. A solid technology background and experience of working across new media platforms is needed. |
